Full form of MBBS is Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of surgery, which is derived from latin word- MBBS meaning Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae. Therefore, MBBS is actually a combined version of latin and english words.

MBBS is an A-level professional degree or more precisely, Undergraduate course for becoming doctor. This is one of the most renowned degree through which one can practice medical.

The title "Dr" or Doctor can then be used before name to refer the person. This is not just a title, it's a title of courtesy indeed!

The MBBS trend was initially from UK or British culture, where MBBS degree was awarded to people for higher authority of medical service. Second year MBBS

Third year MBBS

Subjects: Ophthalmology, ENT and Community medicine

Fourth year MBBS

Internship

Duration: 1 year
In this time period, students are exposed to clinical practice by working at hospitals.
